CALL FOR PAPERS
The Postgraduate Students’ Association of Victoria University of Wellington is delighted to announce The 2nd New Zealand Postgraduate Conference (NZPGC) that will be held on Kelburn Campus, Victoria University of Wellington, on 19-20 November 2016. This is a multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary event where postgraduates are invited to present their work in parallel themed sessions. Participants will hear from renowned guest speakers and top postgraduate peers in an environment that promotes and encourages research excellence.
We welcome abstracts for submission (max. 250 words), for 20 minutes’ conference papers, and poster sessions in your discipline that present novel research. Preference will be given to papers exploring emerging and innovative themes and issues. The best presentations will receive special acknowledgements and there will be a limited number of postgraduate scholar awards available to top performing students. Presentations will be grouped thematically and scheduled in parallel themed sessions. Authors should ensure that abstracts be consistent with the topic of the presentation proposed. Contact details (name, institutional affiliation, email address and phone number) should accompany their abstracts. We welcome but do not limit contributions from any of the following disciplines:

The deadline for abstract submission is 30 October, 2016. However, spaces are limited: we invite early submissions to secure a chance to participate in this conference.
All abstracts will be peer reviewed by specific committees and decisions will be communicated to participants. All accepted proposals will be published on the website and will appear on the conference programme.
Guest speakers will be announced later this year. Further information on conference registration, fees, accommodation, conference dinner and other related issues will be communicated in due course.
